Chirpy Egg Company - NerG Commercial Renewables

Chirpy Egg Company produces high quality, free range eggs in Lincolnshire.

With sustainability being a high priority for the client we looked at various options to make them less grid reliant and more energy independent.

The solution consists of a 120kW Solar PV installation with 46kW of battery storage which will cover a high percentage of the client’s electricity usage.

The customer had a maximum install capacity of 120kW on site, we maximised the system by installing 161kW of Solar PV panels into a 120kW inverter.

The 46kW battery storage will provide electricity to the site at night and also during clouded periods to avoid paying for grid electricity as much as they can.
